Everything you need to know about the Argil MTB. Detailed information about the available sizes and specifications of this frame can be found in the Argil Geometry Factsheet.
The Argil mountain bike frame is a 29er hardtail (29" wheels and front suspension only) for excellent cross country (XC) performance. This frame offers faster rolling over open terrain, better traction when climbing or cornering and a higher "attack angle" for a smoother ride. The enhanced stability and control provides more confidence and comfort.
The diameter increases from top to bottom resulting in a conical shape. The larger diameter is at the bottom where higher stress is applied. Riders will benefit from a noticeably higher steering precision almost without weight penalty. Tapered headsets also deliver a smoother force transfer (e.g. hard braking) to the downtube.
The highest quality materials are used for Aspire carbon frames. Referred to as high modulus carbon fibre, they offer the best combination of strength and elasticity, providing maximum lateral stiffness for best power transfer and a high level of comfort. The result, a light, stiff, comfortable mountain bike.
Electronic shifting components provide incredibly fast and reliable gear changes with minimum maintenance – a real asset across all disciplines of riding and racing. The Argil frame can integrate batteries and electric cables as well as conventional wires.
Both braking and shifting cables are routed internally for cleaner air flow, resulting in improved aerodynamics.
142 x 12 rear spacing for increased stiffness, control and stability.
